However, we don’t advise our passengers to take the train unless Lexington is not the final destination.

When passengers arrive at Blue Grass Airport, we advise them to choose from several ground transportation options, such as rental cars, taxis, ridesharing services, hotel shuttles, and buses.

Taxi Services

Taxi service is available curbside by the baggage claim exit. Meters typically begin at $4.50, with fares running approximately $3.50 per mile, valid for up to four individuals. Pricing is subject to change.

Ridesharing Services

Lyft and Uber provide pick-up and drop-off services at the terminal curbside. Follow signage to the designated Ride App Pick-Up area between the terminal and rental car facility.

Bus Services

The LexTran offers an express route from the Airport to the downtown Transit Center on Vine Street. Shuttle service is offered Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-6:00 pm. The pick-up location is curbside.

Hotel Shuttle Services

Many local hotels offer complimentary shuttle service to and from Blue Grass Airport. For additional information, contact your hotel.
